The Graduate Work Stream Visa (GWS) is valid only for 18 months. For this visa, you must have completed 2 years of study in any Australian University or Institute. Post-Study Work Stream

The Post-Study Work Stream Visa (PSWV) is valid for a maximum of 4 years. Here also, you can live for 5 years if you hold a passport from Hong Kong. To be eligible for this visa, you should hold an Australian student visa subclass 500 that you have applied for and obtained after 5 November 2011. And, you must hold a degree like Bachelor, Master or Ph. D., because Diploma or Trade Qualification is not eligible for this Temporary Graduate Visa 485. The application cost for this visa is AUD 1650.
You can also get a second Post-Study Work Stream Visa if you have your degree from a university located in the Australian regional area. The general 485 Visa requirements are as follows.
- Your age must be less than 50.
- At the time of application, you should be inside Australia.
- You must fulfil all the academic requirements.

Health requirements: You and your dependent family members included in the application should undertake several health examinations. The results of these examinations should be submitted as health documents in the application.
